Can't wait to see what your's looks like blacked out. I also bought a charcoal FXDB in October, but luckily I'm in the south and I have about 1200 miles on it. I had almost decided to leave mine chrome. You may change my mind though.

yeah I threw the parts on today and well in my opinion looks much better..couldnt believe how much chrome and polished really pops out without the chrome ac cover glistening like the sun..its what i was going for..a little bit of chrome and polished goes a long way on a black canvas..
pics when its all done or piece by piece?...

Couldn't agree more on this. I put a DK Custom Outlaw A/C on mine and painted the cover to match the tank. Can't get enough of that color.

Same here but only managed to put 30 miles on mine so far. Miles vs mods/money ... mods/money win so far.
