Picked up my next project. Barely used 01 FXDX. Less than 5k miles. Not sure about the color. Maybe it will grow on me. Who knows. Plans include t-bars, faring (rifle, quarter, or t-sport), powder for trees and lowers on the front end and the factory mags. Not sure what exhaust I wanna run yet. And some kind of bags, either the t-sport repops or maybe if I could find some FXRP hard bags and set me up on a quick disconnect.
I dig it, dig the hell out of it. But if you're going to keep riding in that snow you better put some knobbys on it
Yeah, yellow kind of screams "I belong on a racetrack" but, the flip side of the coin is, it's a cool color, it's a factory cool color so as blue or dark person that I am if it were a second bike I would have to keep it original.
Thanks. I dig the contrast of the yellow with the black. Just wonder if once I add the faring it might be a little too much yellow. If I were to change it up thinking maybe a black cherry or gunmetal gray.
Thanks. It's growing on me. I plan on adding a faring and worry it might be a little too much yellow.
I hear ya, I bought a black used one, mounted it, and decided I like it better black instead of color matched. Maybe u should try that for a lil, u might take the whole bikes color in a different direction.
