I hope you like your ride; and, if you don't, I hope you get what you want. I likemySG but I've made quite a few changes and I'll probably make more. Then, I may end up selling it or trading it in for a different model and spend a few thousand miles changing/upgrading it, too.
I've seen a lot of nice looking Wide Glides; but, something I've noticed is that I've seen few bone stock ones. H-D does that ... it's all about the upgrades. All of their bikes are blank (well not exactly blank) canvases on which we can make our mark and if H-D doesn't make what we're looking for, there's no shortage of aftermarket parts manufacturers.
[Frankly, I don't find the rake of Wide Glides that noticable unless I'm looking at a side by side comparison like on the H-D website. I prefer the round fender to the ski jump, but that's just me.] I'm thinking that at some point in the future, I'd like an old school bobber like a Sucker Punch Sally (hard tail), or Thunder Mountain Sterling RM (soft tail). We'll see ....
In the mean time, get out there and ride!
