Default Engine light

Hi all... I've a 2000 Dyna Low Rider with a wierd problem. The engine light stays on a lot. Sometimes it goes off, sometimes it runs for miles. The bike's running fine, engine, tranny fluids are at the right level. Any ideas?

That same thing happened to my husbands Wideglide. It was a loose sensor. Just an idea.

Thanks a lot, I've re-squeezed all the plugs under the seat. We'll see if that helps when I ride into work tomorrow. Any other connectors I should check, or any other ideas out there?

Bah. light's still on. I guess I'll find out what it is when something stops working.
