Oil pump failure due to Cam tensioner residue?

So far the bike has held up nicely. Checked the oil level last week...not a single drop was lost! This is so strange and new to me! Before the teardown I had to add a quart every month. The primary is leaking, but that's because the gasket's old and I forgot to buy it online. I think I'll make one locally out of gasket paper or something.
The baffles give it a deeper sound, though I think I prefer the no-baffle sound, but it's something you get over rather quickly.

Nice work man! I'll be opening up the cam chest on my bike tomorrow in search of an oil pump issue... your pictures and posts are very helpful.
