Default 49 mm forks

Someone posted a while back that racetech didn't make a set up for the 06/07 Dyna yet, That's bull, I just installed FLEK S49P20 complete with emulsion valves, What a differance, No more bone jarring when I hit a bump. It's worth the money.

I doubt that the person you refer to was trying to spread any bull. The kit that you used is for the V-Rod. Race Tech does not list a suspension kit for the 06 / 07 Dyna Glides. I do know that the kit for the 2005 V-Rod can be installed successfully because forum member Bobcowan installed one on his 06 Super Glide in October of 06 and posted a description of the install. But the truth is that unless Race Tech has added a 49mm kit for the 06 / 07 Dynas just lately, then an inquiry to Race Tech on the subject will return the answer “We do not have a front suspension kit for the 06 / 07 model Dynas."

Wade- no bull. I'm the fella who posted a while back, and RaceTech didn't have a cartridge emulator/progressive springs kit for the 06 dyna, yet. Illinois Harley(Berwyn, IL) sent my forks to them in January. Race Tech did a prototype for the 49 mm. forks and I got them back a couple of weeks ago. I also had the dealership install Progressive 440 shocks. Great improvement in handling. I'm no racer- by college days are 38 years behind me! but the suspension is entirely different from the original. Decreased the front end brake dive significantly, much firmer grip on fast wide cornering, smoother at all speeds and on different surface(90degree railroad ties and stretch seams, potwholes, broken pavement, you name it), no bottoming out with 2 up. I recommend this upgrade wholeheartedly. Jay
