Default Changing handlebar question

Have a 2014 Street Bob. First cruiser. One thing I really want to do is change out the handlebars. Want to use original cables for obvious reasons moneywise. I know the look I want etc. Nothing extreme regards to the rise. A set of bars I really like are the Santee Medium Bonanza Fat Handlebars. Research I've done and the limited knowledge I have, I understand these bars will fit and may let me use original cables. I'm not dead set on these bars, just like the look and would go with any other simlar type bars. My question really is what do I need to look for as far as specs go, that allows me to use original cables? Don't have 24hrs access to my bike at the moment(garaged@ friends). Is it more than verifying the rise on my bars, pullback etc etc? I don't even know how far my bars rise. Things of this nature. Any advice greatly appreciated before I committ to buying new bars.

Generally, the SB with the stock mini apes can use up to 14" bars with stock cable and wires.

Those Santee apes are 14", but the grip-ends taper downward. You could easily use these bars without new cables, wires and hoses.

I've been reading a lot about wiring handlebars because I'm installing short Z Bars on my FB next week. Everyone seems to agree that stock wires fit 12" apes and most agree they'll fit 14" apes. Haven't done it myself, though.

Before I bought my bars I did a lot of measuring. I got 8" bars with almost 7" of pullback and that almost came to the stock setup. (just a little higher.
