Picked up a '14 Street Bob this afternoon in black denim. Totally stock at the moment. No pics, was too busy riding. Can't wait to put miles and mods on it.
I will say that my two hour freeway ride home had me wondering about forwards for it... maybe just some highway pegs.
She's in my garage making my '69 BMW jealous. Poor Bimmer will be ridden even less now. Maybe time to re-home and clear some mod money.
You know, it isn't really that late here in SoCal... maybe I'll go for a quick ride.

Reason: Corrected year of BMW
Congrats!! Just picked up my 2014 SB a few weeks ago bone stock but after a hundred miles realized the exhaust was too quiet for lane splitting so looked around a for a used slip on which now makes my SB sound like what HD's are suppose to sound. Congrats, Enjoy it ride safe!

Congrats on the purchase.
I just bought my second bike and now have forward controls where as my 07 Superglide didn't. I find it much better. On my FXD I did end up putting on highway pegs and found it was real nice just to have another option. Probably had my feet on the highway pegs more often than I should've. A nice cheap and easy choice for an add on.
You are 100% correct, but I was having a hard time even getting off the bike. I'll snap a few tomorrow. I only came home because I was getting tired.
Just over 200 miles today... decent mix of freeway and roads and a canyon or two thrown in for good measure. Scraping pegs a few times. Going to have to get used to the lean angle. Coming from mostly sport bikes my whole life I really need to remember that these things don't lean as far. Puckered a bit the first time it happened. Big smile the second time. Heehee.
