i use a lil dab of 2000ºf nickel anti seize on the flange nuts and on the studs if i am replacing one. as was mentioned they loosen up after the first coupel of heat cycles but its good to check them regularily. i do a critical fastener check once a week durign riding season and those are included with it.

You really should only have to check the torque once. Don't worry if they seem a little loose the important part is to have no leaks. If they keep sliding try the original way by removing any anti-seize you may have on there. Also over-tightened flange nuts often lead to the stud threads breaking off. 90 lbs/" is less than 8 lbs they don't have to be tight to do their work as the heat expands the nuts tighten up.
