06 streetbob is missing and idle and just off throttle. I'm sure there's many a post on this that I can't find. Can someone help my search with a link? I've done new fuel lines and pump. Don't know where to look next.
Sometimes I find it easier to Google it, and the results will bring up quite a few posts here.
More info on the bike would help, like what engine mods it may have, especially in the way of a tuner. Does it do it when hot or cold, how many miles, etc.?
The 06 dynas had a recall on the injectors. The 06s had an 8 degree injector and newer bikes have a 25 degree injectors. I had a 06 Wg that had hesitation issues on cold starts. Ill see if I can find my old thread about it.
Thank you for the info.
My bike is stock other than big sucker and thunderheader. It did it with the stock pipes too. I've read about this issue because of electrical connections, fuel lines, fuel pump, batteries, stator and injectors. It does it cold and hot. You don't notice while riding at distance but idling and around town on and off throttle it's very bad. Sometimes so bad at idle it pops and dies. It always restarts but WTF? Last summer I changed the fuel pump and lines in the tank and cleaned the injectors. The battery seems fine (it always starts) and I've checked electrical connections. I haven't looked at stator but I would think that would more concern the lights dimming which it doesn't.
I just ordered se 211 cams and the se super tuner so I'd like to fix before they get installed.
FYI....I had a miserable time with Harley in Tucson about the ipb fix. Yep, they hosed me good on that and didn't mention the stator issue while they were in there. What the deal with these 06's? Didn't know I needed to search the web before I bought my first harley. Sheeeeesh!!!
Have you tried cleaning your iac with some spray cleaner? It's like carb cleaner only it's meant for FI machines called throttle body cleaner. You get the bike up to running temp, remove the air cleaner start the engine and spray in giving it fuel so it won't choke on ya.
After reading the details you posted I thought it might be the iac then saw maddghost suggested cleaning it. Hope it's something simple like that, so before you go throwing pricey parts at a problem (like a fuel pump and lines) just post it here and we'll try to help.
Also, some kind of tuner or fuel management will help you get a lot more out of your setup.
Thank you for the info.

Mine did close to that with the injector problem. Mine wasn't bad enough that it would die at idle. But it would die trying to take off when cold and I could feel it surging and hear it going around town but when I was on the highway. I would try cleaning the IAC first like others suggest because that will only cost you a can of injector cleaner. I tried that at 1st to but ended up doing the injectors.
