Is you use a suction cup then run a landyard from the nav to the bike. I recon tbere is a market for a good magnetic mount.

Here is a pic of my ram mount (without the gps unit).

I just run a power cord from the battery up to the handle bar, then I can either plug in my gps or cell phone.

I use them on my mountain and road bikes, my car and my Harley. A very good mounting system that pretty much lets you mount anything to anything else.

Looks a bit "lightweight" as they were originally designed for iPhones and bicycles, but I can assure you they do the job perfectly, are cost effective and unobtrusive.

i just got myself a cell buckle !

its retty damn shweeet - holds cameras, phones, gps, ezpass ..
cheap and works awsome
