Default Switchback Belt Guard Removal?

How can something so simple be almost impossible to remove?
You can't get the tools on the fasteners because there's no room.
The left rear foot peg is on a sloping member not allowing me to get an allen wrench in there without messing up the bolt and you can't get a wrench in to remove the footpeg bracket to get the belt guard off with the footpeg at the same time either...did frickin aliens design this setup?
Any suggestions?

Are you using a ball end allen wrench?

The foot peg is held on with a torx.

OP is talking about the belt guard mounted to the foot peg bracket.

Tried the torx, I have torx 3/8th drive sockets, no room to get on top of it but like upflying said a ball head allen will work, geez why didn't I think of that...Thanks all!
