So I took my Vance and Hines Short Shots off my 2013 Street bob and sold them to a member here on the forum (Big Mistake on Me) and installed a set of V-Twin MFG Custom Drags, Basically a 2.25" Knockoff of a V&H Side Shot. I fired up the bike after the pipe swap and it immediately started to idle very high as soon as I started it. I shut it down and then re fired it and it was still revving at idle. I tried a third cycle when the CEL came on and then it began to idle normal for a few seconds then I shut her down. I do have a Fuel Moto Micro Tuner installed and was told to try that tune and if it needs adjustment they would work up a tune. Well I checked the DTC's and it threw a P0507 which is an idle air control code... I never touched the throttle body whatsoever. I did however unhook the battery and re installed. Any ideas on what the issue could.

 

Try reinitializing the ECM and EFI by cycling the power 3 times, 30 seconds on 30 seconds off. You need to have the run / stop switch in the run position and cycle the ignition switch to the ignition position on - 30, off - 30, on - 30, off - 30, on - 30, off - 30. If that works, you somehow (the EFI) lost track of the IAC position. If it doesn't work, start looking for intake leaks, you might have bumped something that was already a bit loose.
