So its time to get a bag or a set of bags for the fat bob. I am leaning towards the viking bags because the ability to lock them seems like an additional theft deterrent, even though I know a true thief is going to get what they want. I don't plan to keep very valuable things in there but the idea of the lock is nice.
If you guys could share your thoughts on bags and if you have pictures that would help too. I don't want to ruin the look of the bike but also I understand practicality. Thanks
Those bags look awesome. I've been considering BAD&G bags for a long time now. If you don't mind, I have some questions about yours.
Did you go with the standard bags or the hard bags? Either way, how are they holding up? Also, are the bags in your pictures one of the standard sizes... what is the width? I ask the last question because they look thicker than in the pics on BAD&G's website. I'm referring the the distance from the panel nearest the bike to the panel that is furthest from the bike.

Thanks.
I went with the hardbag upgrade and also the extra 1" upgrade. They're holding up great. I suggest using axle covers though. I tried it briefly without them and noticed that the axle and axle nuts tend to chew up the bags.
