Still looking? If you goggle image "FXDXT" or "Dyna T Sport" you'll see my blue bike, recently sold to another member of this board and replaced with an FXDF with mid controls...the Fat Bob handles solid but it's somewhat slow and definitely heavy compared to an FXDX. I had my T Sport down to 610 lbs...huge difference. I've also ridden the BMW R1200RT and it's a far better performer than any FXD could ever be...just the way it is.
But; an FXDX can be a demanding bike; you'll have to understand the suspension to get the best out of one and if you start modding the engine (I had 111hp/117ft lbs 103 inch in mine) then you need to get even more involved. Casual, comfortable cruising and touring? Fat Bob.
Want to be able to go from canyons to cruising? Any FXD with some suspension work; after all the frame on the '00 - '05 Dynas is the same as the FXDX, with the exception of the Wide Glide and, I believe, the Low Rider having more rake...
I miss my FXDXT but am satisfied with my FXDF.
