I bought a TFI some time back, sent it back in for the 6 mode unit.
Weather has been real nice so I've had a chance to mess with the
tuning. I was having some trouble with a pop or two on a hard decel.
I cranked mode 4 up to setting 4.5 and that seemed to take care of
that. With the Arlen Ness Big sucka, the bike is running fantastic. I
noticed I don't get near the heat off the cylinders like I used to and
when I shut it down I don't get as much tinging from cooling. For the
money I'm glad I did it. One of these days I would like to get a Dyno
reading to see what effect the TFI has. It feels like I added a few
ponies, but would like to see the numbers. One of the few times I
went the cheaper way and felt like I got what I paid for.
Thanks for that, Mike. I've been toying around with going for the free upgrade as well. However, things have been running excellent the past 6 months or so, so, I've not done it.

Whiff
Same thing here. I know it's out there and available to me, but I haven't had any "issues" with the phirst version.
I still got my old one... sitting in a milk crate! Maybe i'll send it in for a new one. Although the PC3 has been working good for me the past couple weeks. I really dont feel like fussin with it while its nice out.
