Well, I finally did it. I sold my Low Rider and bought a new Street Glide Special. It is amazing how much smoother the Street Glide rides than the Low Rider. My ragged knees are much happier. And that 103 motor will move that bike real good. I was surprised.
Now the vicious cycle starts all over again. Start spending thousands to make it my own. I spent $1300 on the first day. I foresee at least a couple thousand more being spent.
I'm gonna miss the Low Rider. I loved that bike. I almost kept it. I gave the guy who bought it a great deal. It's depressing to take $10,000 less than I spent on it. Oh well.
I appreciate all the good info and great ideas I got from everyone over here on the Dyna side.
Your LR was hot, but you're going to love the SGS. I was sitting on a gray one today at Low Country HD in Charleston SC. The sales guy just flipped on the switch and let me have at the electronics. I have to admit, it was sweet.
Congrats man, I love both my Dyna and SGS for different reasons.. Your gonna love the SGS. Check the version on your software for the radio etc... It might need the update to keep from popping etc

Will do. I've been reading the threads trying to get familiar with the problems. I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate through the Infotainment system. It's great having tunes while riding.
Got about 60 miles on it today. Can't wait to get back on it. New V&H pipes are going on tomorrow.
Cool, nice bike and congrats. Now get off the dyna section and start chatting about which compartment your medications go in with the rest of the geezers in the touring section.
Come on, I had to be the first to razz this turncoat about his goldwing? Seriously bro, sweet ride and congrats, and know this comes from a place of brotherhood and understanding....now beat it old man, before I tell the nursing home you've gone missing.
