WHY you asked how????,,, I told you how you don't need any special tools, it takes about 2 minutes to remove it using basic tools, you could even use 2 nails and a screw driver, Not every job needs special tools,.. up too you but maybe take it too a dealer, its very easy with basic tools too remove your choice, be rideing today or awaiting that TOOL you don't need, I would rather off said thanks loopie im out rideing today

I used needle nose pliers this weekend. Stick the ends in two of the holes and the use a large crescent wrench on the pliers to turn it. Make sure to unplug the plastic plug on the fork locking pin thats located under the fork tube. Then just be careful pulling the ignition switch out.
