If I got this right, you are putting a 120 into a FatBob with its' stock clutch? I have the stock clutch with a Barnett HD spring and it slips on my 107 build. I think you will need a new clutch like the Bandit Sportsman to handle the 120. I am just going to change out the frictions/steel plates but that is probably not enough for you.
OK, kinda slow today - Clutch BASKET, sorry no help here, have not heard much at all about replacing the basket.

You can blow your clutch basket on a 106 (father in law did that on his RG Stroker 106).......that being said I personally would get a complete basket and clutch setup ($1,100), but it also depends how hard you ride.
It's the hole shots that put all the major bottom end stress and where the stock unit will most likely blow.
When his basket blew it shot straight back to the back of the primary case then just rattled around inside, not causing any more damage, most importantly didn't lock anything up while he was blasting down the strip!

Wow, i guess i have never heard of that happening, to be honest i thought it would just slip or burn up or maybe even not release if the basket was damaged. That sucks!
