Droped the back one inch stock shocks jacked up all the way two up with wife hair dryer and currling iron.Good ride no problems.

I'm 5'11" so my bike fits me perfectly. If you feel a bit uncomfortable then yes, get it lowered so you feel like you have better overall control over it. Worth the $$. IMO.
