Use the support function in the TMax software to send info to TMax support, they will work the map for you and it is free.
I did this when I had an idle issue after a few years and they turned it around within a day and have not had an issue since.
BTW, the tuner you are talking to does not know what he is talking about. He is selling you a load of crap to get your money. You do have a way to calibrate the sensors, it is called "AutoMap", try reading the manual for the software. Have you ever run the automap feature with the software?
