Wife is looking at a new vrod and just wondering how close we are in the long run. My WG is a 2013 w/ 103ci, short shots, stage 1 intake, power vison 2. So, where are we? Close? I know as of right now i will out ride her but if it were me vs. me
I took a friend's Vrod for a joyride...didn't like it. Too cramped [I'm 6'1 btw]. The braking was excellent though, and the speed wasn't bad...for a Harley. If you were to race "me vs. me" like you said you'd kick your *** with the Vrod every time.
Vrod is wicked fast, nothing else that HD makes is keeping up with it.
I would guess you would need to drop serious coin at your bike to even keep up, and probably never faster. And she could turn around and put a couple of bucks into the Rod and be faster then you again.
Hahah no nothing wrong with it since she won't use it to be fast haha
I wouldnt be so sure about that. Once she gets her confidence and skills up, will smoke you in a straight-line, just so much easier to go fast on the vrod.
I have a 1994 yammy vmax, and that still goes like a bat out of hell. Just twist and hold on.
