After an 07 FXD l went to a 2011 Night Rod Special and l traded that on a 014 Lowrider a couple of weeks ago, all new btw. At normal speeds the FXD's are way nicer to ride. The V Rod engine is superb, red lining it through the gears is awesome and it has brakes to match, Harley brakes are crap compared to Brembo..... l needed to ride the V Rod at really illegal speeds to get the most out of it and really enjoy it, l put mid mount controls on it too, which made it even better.... A couple of minutes on my Lowrider reminded me what an awesome bike the Dyna is too.... Just my 2 cents worth....
