I am looking to purchase a custom 2 up seat for my 2000fxdl. Of course, along with style I would like to keep the comfort aspect as well. I am looking mainly at The C&Ccustom seats Sport tour model and possibly the Corbin gunfighter and lady model. If anyone has any personal experience with these or possibly could reccommend something all together different my ears are open. I would really like to get something that will be comfortable for the long hauls not just accross town. Please help if you can.
c&c not very comfortable....at least not the small solo................................looks good though.....................................LO..... .....................................
Contact Patty at BAR Enterprises, great to work with and they'll do whatever you need to have done. They pay attention to what you have questions on, how you ride, what your style of riding is (hard twisties, cruising, etc.) harleyseats.com is their website. They build my solo seat and it's been great for 3 years now.

Got a corbin on my 81 FX. Comfort is OK, but I can see foam between the main and passenger seats. This might seem like a small thing to some people, but I want to show my sled as well as ride it. I've got one of the nicest bikes in town andfoam shows between my seats. That's my rant. Ride safe and look good!
I was just looking at a forums sponsor called Mean City Cycles. They do stock seat modifications and his prices look about 10% of what you would pay for a new seat. I really like the looks of my stock seat, but I wouldn't mind lowering it an inch and sticking in some better foam.
Search the Forums for screen name BadX or Mean City and you'll find dozens of glowing reviews for Allan's work at Mean City. Here is the link to the several page thread in Vendor For Sale Classifieds:
I have a Corbin DualTour which is very comfortable, but the reason I'm replying to your post (since you aren't asking about a DT) is to tell you that I'm very disappointed with how the seat fits my bike. At first it was so tight I couldn't get it on so I rode to nearby Corbin and they "fixed" it for me. Now it's so loose that it wobbles all over the place.
