Sorry to bring up an old thread but This is perfect. I'm sick of trying to get answers and only hearing "stop doing wheelies" or "buy a sport bike". Id also like to know who is running one of these and how they work
these threads are full of keyboard tough guys and pretenders. you have to sift through a lot of judgemental bullshit, but there is good info here.
so far so good. i mean its a simple design, it limits excess movement. i figured $60 was better than a month down and hundreds in repairs because i wheelie from time to time
I cant quite see how the motor case broke. The bracket on a Dyna is much more flimsy and i would expect that to break first. Also the weakest part of the case is through the holes.

Just FYI, YOU MUST FIRST REMOVE THE STOCK EXHAUST BRACKET WHICH IS A TOTAL BITCH WITHOUT THE RIGHT TOOL, UNLESS YOU ARE "THE MAN" WITH JERRY RIGGING SOMETHING... Had to go to a HD dealer and after having a "chat" with the manager (they first said no), he finally brought my bike back and they took it off for me!! Funny story actually... told them they were going to lose a customer bc their service sucked (which is the truth at this particular dealership) and that did the trick! Haha, dick move, but it got the job done!!!
The Landing Pad itself is super easy to install, ONCE THE EXHAUST BRACKET IS OFF...
