I had the new SEII slip-ons installed on my 2007 Street Bob. But they don't sound as deep as the older SEII slip-ons (not EPA approved).
Is there a way I can modify them so they will sound deeper like the old ones ?
Do I have to drill holes or remove something in it ?
Anybody didthis before and if yes, how ?
Look at the insides from the back. You should see the baffles bolted in place. If so they are removable. You can replace them with BCTs which from what I hear sound pretty good.

Well, my pipes are not SE 2. It is written Screaming Eagle on them. They areEPA regulated quiet mufflers. Later on, I will change them for a new V&H exaust system. For now, just to improve the sound a little, I will try to drill holes in the baffles. If anybody have done this before, let me know if it worked OK.
I don't think they have BCT baffles for the 07 SE pipes yet. I think the diameter is larger than the SE II's. You can take the baffles out and remove all of the packing and then put the baffles back in. I did and I am pretty happy with the sound. Check out this thread.
