Handle bar question

2013 Dyna Wide Glide, vs 2011 Dyna Wide Glide. Looking to put a set of 16" apes on a 2013 and noticed where there are bars listed for 1990-2011 and then 2012-2013. I noticed the complete kit from HCC is more for the 2013. What changed? The bike I am working on has no abs, no dual disk, and throttle by cable. Can I bolt on the complete kit for a 2011 on this 2013 bike? Am I missing something here.

If you're buying a complete bar kit the wiring and controls are going to be different not the bars themselves. I know I've seen wiring extension kits for bars and the wiring works for 2011 Softails (CAN BUS was introduced that year for softail family) and 2012 Dynas and up. Can't say for sure but looks that to me as if the Dyna Family got the updated CANBUS system in '12 would be my guess.
