I'm running a 90/90-21 with the stock front fender, no modifications. Its tight, but it fits. I know there's guys on here running wider tires (120/70-21 I think?) with the stock front fender. I'm sure one of them will chime in if they had to modify the fender.

I think JaronB is running a 21x3.5 with a stock fender.

You can run it with a stock fender...some fit tight some need a little coaxing but it will fit with little to no mods

I have the jerieh 21x3.25. The lacing was easy with the service manual. Torquing and truing I had a shop do it. Here's the link for lacing the jirieh with the stock hub and spokes.

First 2 pics are with the elite 3 tire. Last is with the Avon Cobra, which gave me a little more fender clearance. Guess it's more round.
