So many folks cut their shelf short a lot of times.
for me, I would not do anything unless I am doing head work. That is the hidden ingredient, The hidden power.
With head work you have a lot better selection of cams. With the proper head work you may get by with a HP cam and still have good torque. I go for torque and the HP will be there.
