A year ago, 2013 early I bought a NEW 2012 Dyna Super Glide Custom. 1,400 miles on it now and the front fender has cracks in metal on both sides where the two rivets are that hold onto front forks! Took to my HD Dealership today, they said it will be coverd under my 2 year factory warranty. Great! Wonder how long the new one will last.... Nice to know how to solve the "cracking" issue, not just put another on only to crack again.
Has anybody else had this cracking issue?
****UPDATE 6-13-14...... Just got back from Dealership with NEW fender. Coverd under 2 yr factory warranty. WOULD HAVE COST $586.00 & $90.00 LABOR! For this CHEAP PIECE OF THIN METAL!!!

Thanks for posting this issue. I will be monitoring this on my bike
My wife's 2012 Super Glide Custom rusts like crazy and has had a handful of other issues from starting to the engine cutting out while moving. I'll add this to the list of things to watch out for...
