Question Fuel pump runs after ignition switched off
Hi, I have a strange problem I am trying to hunt down on my FXDWG (2010) and was wondering if anybody has faced similar issues.

Intermittently, my fuel pump will cycle after I have switched the ignition off. Usually happens after a wash.

Pull the electrical panel off.

Pull out each relay and check for corrosion.

Get some dielectric grease and clean each fuse then reinstall.

I'll bet you find white corrosion in there.

Thanks for the advise. the System relay was rusted and problem seems to be resolved since I replaced it.
