Folks, I am currently running 12" MX-T bars on my '14 FXDB and I am looking at moving to 14" t bars. I am currently using the stock cables and wires with no issue. When I make the purchase, will I need to purchase longer cables and wires or will the stock ones work(rerouting, etc)? Thanx.
Walk out to your bike...can you pull about 2" of slack on the cables?
If not, does it look like you can reroute them to get more slack?
Remember that when you turn the bars they will get tight.
The HD parts book has the cable lengths listed...can help you determine if some stock takeoffs from another bike will work or how long your stock ones are.
