I have a '15 FXDL completely stock for now. Thinking of installing a PV-2, Pro Billet Air Cleaner FM117-442 but leaving the exhaust stock. I don't want to get into the expense of changing out the whole exhaust system at least for now. Will probably still be dealing with heat from CAT but thinking the engine should run cooler since it won't be running so lean. What improvements can I expect with regards to performance and driveability? Matt
I have the PV2 on my 2015 LR. Best fuel tuner out there in my opinion. I did a full Stage 1 and the bike runs much better and cooler than stock. I would ditch the stock exhaust and get rid of the cats. Nothing but heat and performance loss comes from the stock exhaust. My V&H Big Shots barley ran $600 OTD.

V&H full exhaust is the one I'll probably go with but probably at Stage 1.5 :icon_moped
Seat is here.....still waiting on the hardware. Might be here Saturday.
Hope the shipping gods make it on time. I hate waiting for packages.
I checked to see if there were any more Demo Days set for Sept or Oct in IL and there are none. Looks like all the Demo Day events will be down south or out west for the rest of 2015. Anyone planning on trying a 2016 LR at an upcoming Demo Day event?

what do you mean by demo day? my purchasing dealer in harisburg, pa will let you take one for a demo ride any day of the year unless its raining or snowing ,they are really cool people
A HD Demo Day event is something HD does, not the dealer. HD sends a truck or trucks around to HD dealers with about 20 different bikes. People wanting to test ride one must sign up and then everyone goes out on a group ride. I went to two Demo Day events in 2014. As it is getting late in the year, many of the remaining Demo Day events are in southern states or western states.
Did you go with the regular 444's or the HD version?
sorry slow with the answer, just returned from a 1900 mile week in the redwoods. I used the regular duty springs on advise from progressive, on the trip, my self, the wife and about 50lb of gear, had the shock tension wound to the max, seemed ok on tension, the low rider loves curves even 2 up with all that travel gear.
Searched a bit and didnt find the same issue im having, but it is with the ignition. Bike died on me on the freeway, coasted over safely and stopped in the shoulder. Turning bike on and off and it intermittently would shut off, then other times it would stay running until you applied any throttle and it would die as if it was off. I accidentally put my hand on the ignition **** while looking at the other side of the bike and the bike stayed on. The ignition will only stay on if you press the **** and hold it, as soon as you let go it dies. Searched up info thought it was the recall stuff but no its been done. Dealer said it could be the collar that holds the ignition and the black plastic in place, nope it was tight and lock tightened. After removing the ignition assembly which is integral to itself, its squishy, on both sides. Long story short its the assy itself. Taking bike in tomorrow because its a keyed item and the saying a week and half just to get a new one.... FML and MoCo.
