I do not like where the rear brake pedal engages. I feel that I have to roll my ankle too far forward and it's difficult to apply pressure. I have adjusted it as well as possible but I really think it's a poor design. When I sit on a Street Bob with standard mids it feels better but I have not taken one out on a test ride.

I thought the same thing but I eventually got used to it. Doesnt bother me a bit now

Agreed. I still am not sure I am getting any rear brake action. Wish DK or someone made some kind of fix for this issue.
It's all got to do with the geometry of those further forwards - when you press your foot is basically extending beyond where you have optimal strength. It's just akward. Adjusting the pedal up is about all we can do. I'm actually considering going to reg mids because I use my rear every time I apply the brakes...
