You mean me? Nothing was broke had a lot of internal bleeding and swelled up like a watermelon on my left side. Couldn't wear real pants for about 2 weeks till the swelling went down. I'm really lucky it wasn't worse. I've seen people hurt a lot worse doing less than I was. What height back rest do you have?
Well I got to ride about 250 miles on the new set-up. The Bassani is such a step up over the V&H slip-on (still for sale). Off the line this bike just kills it now. The forwards are such an improvement over the mids and aside from dragging my heels in the turns, they took very little to get used to. Now I know why people complain about the stock brake pedal being a little hard to access because now the pedal has some leverage to it and makes application so much easier.
I am going to try a different tune on the PCV. The one I have is great except on the decel from 2500-2000 where I get some decel popping. The rest of the map is solid and I averaged 39 mph and that's not bad especially how I like to ride.
I had the same heel dragging problem when i switched to forwards on my Nightster. I had brand new boots at the time with the sides of the heel drug out. I would see how long i could get my heels to drag in the turns. lol

I had problems with the stock brake pedal when I first got the bike. However, after a few weeks, I got used to it and, for me, it works real good.
Sounds like you had a nice ride. I got a short ride in last Fri and then rain Sat, Sun and Mon in N. IL. I should be able to get a few more rides in this week and next week.

Well, before it was my muffler scraping the ground. The new exhaust is higher so it is no longer an issue. And yes, it's kind of fun to let them scrape a little in a turn!

I felt the same way, but now it's so much better while braking because of the angle which provides better leverage.
Well, I called Dynojet and they gave me the decel fix. So I hung the cord out of the back of the seat and rode with a back pack and my laptop. I pulled over a few times and I am lucky someone didn't call the authorities. I could see it now as I was in a bank parking lot with a laptop on the seat plugged into the bike trying to fine tune my bike and someone just calling the Police for suspicious behavior. I eliminated the decel pop so it was worth it. What we do for our obsessions!

My Bassanis never really have a problem with scraping. Unless I lean so far as the peg starts to fold in then the bottom tip of the muffler starts to drag a little bit. I try not to go that far very often. lol

The old stocker with the V&H slip on would scrape before you hit the pegs. The only way this new exhaust is going to scrape is if someone knocks my bike over.
And the V&H is still up for grabs. For any of you lurkers or new LR owners that haven't figured out to do, I would suggest buying it from me just to get you by. It's a great slip-on and gave me the 6 or so months of Harley sound until I figured out what direction to go in.
