I never seen the value in doing that. The weather in my area has allowed to ride into early December each of the last 6 years. Then it gets too cold to ride and some snow comes but then come Jan and Feb it warms up for a few days and I go out riding.

With all the miles I am putting on now, I may just hit 15K come some point in late Nov.

I hope HD sends me another one of those $50 Off Service cards that they sent me back in April or May. Best thing I ever got in the mail from HD to date. Lots of catalogs and brochuers but $50 off is sweet. I am the only one to get on of these service cards?

I just purchased a LR I'm 6' I feel a little big on the bike. It rides great and very easy to maneuver in traffic. What is the hight of other riders ?

I'm 5' 10" and the LR fits me quite well, better than the Sportster I had before.

I have removed the back support and turned the bars a fair way towards me to relieve any stress on my shoulders and upper arms.

Get some forward pegs.

I'm 5'9"-5'10"ish and the mid pegs on the LR are perfect for me.

What sold me on the LR was the dual caliper front brake...my gf rides a lot on the back and that extra stopping power is niiiiiccceeee.

Get some taller shocks, and get it to the height of the Lowrider S. The extra couple of inches might make it feel better for you.

Cograds on the new LR. Post some pics when you get a chance.

I'm 5'6 and the LR fits me well.

Freeway pegs will help you "stretch out" when on the road. Leave the bars fully forward (as delivered.) Just ride!
Oh yeah, welcome to the site!

Yeah. See signature.

Great pipe.

I agree with the longer shocks as posted above. As you can see, I've made a ton of mods, but if I had to do it all over again. Shocks would be my first mod. I went with 13.5 inch Hagons. The bike handles so much better and it certainly more comfortable.
