I am pretty sure this may be a taboo question, but gonna ask it anyway. I am looking at going the Pro Taper/riser direction with my bars and it seems as if everyone is running the Forbidden set up, but is anyone using the White Iron customs risers? I did a search and came up empty. Just curious.

 

well do you want to support a couple rich guys from white iron customs and their spokesman who is a so called stunt rider from DYNA NATION who are new to the HD industry, or do you want to support a one man show Jimmy from forbidden who is has building motors forever and doing pro tapers since 2008.

do you believe the white iron customs online post how they designed and invented protaper risers for HD bikes. if you lived here in Nor cal you would know the truth like a lot of us do, which is the dyna nation clown took the pro taper idea to his rich *** boys and started white iron customs. also the dyna nation clown stated numerous times to jimmy how he didnt know about his risers, yet a for full year before white iron customs/ dyna nation started the risers dyna nation had commented on a lot of my boys instagram pics of forbidden risers.

do you really think white iron customs makes the best foot pegs in the world or did the basically copy speed merchant?

do what you want some may say im biased because I consider jim (forbidden) a loyal good honest mechanic and friend. but what i have stated is the truth.

if you order 13s online with white iron customs and they are to tall are they gona send you a set of 9s or 11s and let you return the 13s free of charge? if you are having trouble wiring up your bars can you call white iron customs at 9 p.m. their is a reason forbidden list a cell and shop number its for customer service.

support the original small guy, screw the big rich guys. maybe its the american way to copy a idea and not admit to it. at least the WIC/dyna nation guys could admit to copying the bars, then i would have some respect for them....i would at least say they got ***** and are not cowards.

other thing that bothers me is dyna nation/WIC always look so hard in pics like they are hardcore bad asses, it is ok to smile in pics. just cause you got a new harley two years ago doesn't mean you have to act like a lifer inmate.

Not at all and fwiw I already had bars and risers on order with Jim. I just wondered why I could find nothing about them here. I figured the wic to be a knock off ( if that's the appropriate word ). Their website is nice though.

 

right on, what size riser and bar bend did you go with? what model of bike you gona put them on?

9" with the mini high bars. 2011 SB and I am using the Joker Machine top tree.

 

dope gona look sick, i have 11s and rm low bend i went with black bars but now i wish i would of got the silver or gold bronze looking bars. i doubt to many guys in Florida are running pro tapers, you will draw some attention thats for sure...half the people gona dig em half the people gona hate on them, its what happens when you do something outside of the box.

I have never seen any around here, not to say they aren't. I went with the silver bars ( bike is vivid black, but I have been kicking around the idea of painting the bike silver ) and figured if I did not like them I could always paint them or sell them and him Jim drill and sleeve another set in a different color. He should be shipping them today or tomorrow and I will put up some pics after they are installed.
