I know the 42 is the prefferred carb for a stock twin cam, but I came across a 45 at a great price. I was wondering if anyone had one rejetted to suit a stock bike. I have a 01 FXDX.

 

I am planning a build on my 88 and have been told by several different wrenchs that I would be better served by buying the carb I need rather than buying one too large and trying to make it work. Take it for what it is worth, it was the advice that I was given........
