I do like the old wide glide, but I remember the first time I saw a new style wide glide. It was black with flames and the second I saw it while marching in formation I told myself I would have one one day. My only complaints are the stock bars, and how hot it runs compared to my carbed fxd.

My 1998 was my baby and I'm still mad T myself for selling her. I ride a 2006 wide glide now. Doesn't handle S well as the 98 , but it still feels like a wide glide

I just can't deal with the fender on the older models. It looks way better now.

I voted for my year, 2010.
Not a big fan of the old style.
I would have never bought a new HD if they had not produced the new WG.

I voted for the 07 (I have an 07). Tho the 06 and 08 are the same. I like the look of the 06-08 WG's especially the fender. I looked for a while before I found one. As for the heat, It's an air cooled V-twin!

Come on, I had to vote for my year 2010- it's the only one I'm qualified to comment on.

Thanks. I'm not surprised at the voting, or that the pre EFI are great bikes. Sorry about that, but I'm interested in these years.
It's not as clear as I thought it would be about too much heat on the bigger engine, or newer lousy cornering, or even traction of the front tire. And the added features on the gauge, or ABS don't seem to make a difference; they don't to me.
I'll just be looking at all these years for the best add on's and condition I can get for the price.
