The difference in price between the '13 and '14 is because the ABS is standard now so they jacked up the price to cover it. Worked out for me since I wanted ABS anyway.

"Then on the last paragraph they said the only thing changed this year was that ABS comes with it, extending emergency stopping by a minimum of ONLY 2 feet. Higher price."

Even Harley says that the ABS doesn't shorten stopping distance all that much but it does give a MUCH safer stop.

Any of the bikes between '99-2004. The newer ones are ugly...

It's not as clear as I thought it would be about too much heat on the bigger engine, or newer lousy cornering, or even traction of the front tire. And the added features on the gauge, or ABS don't seem to make a difference; they don't to me.
I'll just be looking at all these years for the best add on's and condition I can get for the price.
All Wideglides since the first one in 1980 came with the skinny 21" front wheel and tire.

1980 the first one. I would take it over all of them.

I know it doesn't answer your question but I've got to go with my 85 even though it's a bastard child and doesn't know if it wants to be a shovel or an Evo.

I'll vote for the '08, repainted. This one has 140,000 miles on her.

1998! Had mine since new and have had chances to get rid of it but never have. The newer ones just don't appeal to me.
