Default For all you Thundermax guys.

Sup fellas,

Thought I would share this informations. Just recently I was going to replace my Thundermax 02 sensors due to a friend of mine helping out installing a pipe on my bike. Well I guess we had to many beers or he did because he stripped the **** out of one. Not cool being they are $100 a pop. Yeah most of you would say no problem just re-tap it, which I did on the 02 sensor bung. The actual 02 sensor was beyond repair. Anyhow I did some research and found that Bosch makes the same dam 02 sensor for $50 !!! Please pass this info along.

Here's the part Bosch part number.

Are these upside down because you had too many beers?

Thanks for the info. A bonus is they are "Made in the USA". A piece of advice, save the beer until till the job is done.

If your willing to research some you find some other parts are interchangeable to. Like the fuel injectors General motors injectors have some that are exact replacements for the Screaming eagle units such as the 6.2 units at well over a third the cost.

Thanks for the part number info EastBay_Solo. Greatly appreciated.

I just did a quick internet search and thought I would pass on what I found.

Pep Boy's is having a 20% off sale for Bosch O2 sensors. That makes them $40 each. A lot better than what Zippers or Thunermax is asking for them.
