Had a starting issue today with my 2011 wide glide. The on/off switch was in the off position and as soon as I turned the ignition on the starter engaged, which in-turn turned the motor over. The bike wont start but the starter engages.
It will start if I have the on/off switch on but the starter keeps engaging.
For the hell of it I disconnected the battery, connected the battery up and still did the above.I took the on/off switch housing off to see if things were corroded but they look to be a sealed switches.
Its fine now, just don't want it to happen again
Any idea?
Thanks all

yep, had same problem on my son in laws nightster. Same relay fits a Dodge, so it was cheaper to buy than a HD relay. So instead of Moco part used a mopar one. lol
I went to NAPA to see if they had one. They crossed the relay for one used in a lexis and wanted $40 for it. I went to the local harley dealer and got one for$6.00 . And they say harley rips people off
