C&C solo seat. Moved me up about 2 inches. Build quality is great really nice seat but with mid controls I put the stock seat back on.

Just to clarify, your C&C raised you 2" or moved your forward 2"?

Thanks!

I bought a Sundowner for my 2012 FXDWG just before taking a trip from MA to IN in May. The ONLY part of my body that didn't hurt at any time was my butt! LOVE the comfort.

Not exactly a pretty seat (it's the 2-up). But I run a "tunnel bag" that sits over the butt ugly passenger pillon so it doesn't matter as much. (the bag isn't necessarily pretty either but haven't found any saddlebags I like.)

Main problem is - that seat raised me up substantially. So instead of being solidly flatfooted I am almost not, to barely flatfooted. Don't feel it changed forward or back any.

So now my husband put a gel pad in my stock seat, which is definitely more comfortable than stock, but cant compare to the Sundowner. So I'll run the modified stock around town and shorter trips, and the Sundowner when planning a long trip.

Got a Mustang wide vintage with backrest..just did 300 miles on it, still comfy. Stock seat would give me 50 miles before I felt butt burn.

This is a top 3 choice for me. Ideally, I'd like something that raises me a smidge and goes back a smidge. I called Mustang yesterday and they said the riding position doesn't really change much. After being on a Tallboy, it really made me realize how cramped the stock seat is for me. So, if the Mustang doesn't really change the riding position, I have to wonder if that's the way to go for me. I still would love to check one out as I've NEVER read a negative review. How does the Mustang change the riding position for you?
