I've got an 02 FXDL that I'm wanting to have handle a little better. I'm already planing on doing the true track and probably a set of Works shocks in the rear. I was just wondering what soem of you are running or would recommend running for fork springs. I'm already thinking of running heavier fork oil and a set of Race Tech gold valves and probably a set of Speed Merchant adjusters. I'm just lost in the spring department. Any help or opinions is/are greatly welcome.
I put the traxxion straight rate springs and ricor intiminators in my front forks...that and the 13" jri B shocks are the stuff...very pleased with this
I have some Ricors on b/o ( not direct ), but seriously considering the new Progressive monotube/cartridge setup.
Oooops, I did not catch the op had an 02, sorry.

Try 10WT fluid first, you might not even need springs. Difference is night and day!
I might try it and just upgrade to the gold valves and some adjusters and see how it goes from there, at this point in time I feel like I've got pool noodles for fork tubes, so somethings got to be worn out in that aspect of it.

The gold valves are going to require you to drill some holes in your dampening rod, the ricor intiminators don't require any modification and they work great. Just a heads up
intimidators, traxxion stright rate spring, amzoil 10w shock therapy fork oil. There is nothing better in that price range on the market. It's a proven set up that, in my opinion, is much more high tech then gold valves.
