[QUOTE=UUNetBill;12885887]Thanks for the replies, everyone.
jjtroutbum - if I'm not mistaken, 2014 has the Street Bob and the Fat Bob available...but it was the Street Bob that was on the floor at a local dealer that got me looking down this road;
See if you can take a test ride of the two of them. That ought to narrow it down.
As much as I love my Dyna, if I had a Street Glide and was looking for a second bike for short rides, I'd be looking at something way less practical than a Dyna. Something with a Shovelhead, or maybe a Evo Softail with a Springer.
Id get a sportster if you can fit on one.. great second bikes.. if your sold on dynas (aren't we all) then the streetbob is an awesome ride. I have one and it will do anything a bike can do.
I was in the same boat a while back and purchased a 2011 Wide glide. (My other two bikes are a Fatboy and a RoadKing.)
I have to say that the Wide glide is easily the most fun of the three........As long as the ride is under 150 miles.
call me crazy but i'm waiting for the street 750, something for short rides
with a standard riding position that can really be thrown through the corners.
once it hits the market shouldnt be long before some go fast goodies come out also
