.................................................. .....................................

I cut the fender and struts off to keep my crazy G.F. off the back.

.................................................. .....................................

The concept of the bobber is to remove everything that dosen't make it go or stop better....

(bags on a bobber - PLEASE...)

My favorite part of this bike is it is origional - I made many custom parts you can't buy -

and IT DOES NOT look like your bike...

.................................................. .....................................
I am extremely impressed with the originality of your machine.

Surely you kick your ***** ahead of you as you walk.

If I had nuts that big I'd cut the rear struts off my frame too.
I've gone a different route, no welding cutting or drilling the frame.
And yet try to radicalize my 06 SuperGlide to my own personal taste.

Again, I applaud your effort. Well done.

My eyeballs do not care for the overall look.

Seat is too big, lose the brass knucks AND the windshield,
lower the rear of the frame by raising the top shock mount.

The gaiters are a bit too large,
I like the red (I'm perplexed as to why).

The partially wrapped pipes are a nice touch.
The strategically placed armoring empasizes your forethought (or afterthought).

I do understand a work in progress,

nice job. Keep up the good work.

Yep...gotta shave the seat down and raise the tank up. Maybe put a small tool kit under windshield...Thank god for the internet...i'm a big guy and the only thingI hear is how great the bike is...thank god there is a place where everyone can throw in their .02 w/o getting their *** kicked...

YEAH.

But trust me on this -

lower the seat height by raising the top mounting point
of the rear shock. A tremendous difference in the overall profile,
as well as lowering the center of gravity.
Big big plus.

At any rate, great job on the mods.

Nice bike!!!!! Completely opposite of mine, but I don't believe in one being better than the other. We all have different taste. Can't wait to see what the end product will look like. Keep posting and never stop riding!!!

OK looked at the pic again, what I saw is a reflection.
Better than a real dent, a faux dent.
May have my striper fake in some booboos when I get around to colortime.

What's the story on the footpegs?? You make em or buy em??
Look real comfortable. My tired old feet might like those.
My eyeballs do.

I really like your perforated skid plate wrap guards.
Would you mind enlightening me as to the gauge??
Looks kinda light and just right.

On a roll here with the questions,
What's the technique you used tying those gaurds on??

What is this??
Looks like somethin I need:

Those are Kur. isoboards painted plack - chrome is crap - very comfy and great for cowboy boots - they also don't bruise your legs when you move the bike around. Moved stock pegs on forwards...
I made the heat guards out of some left over alum. dia. plate that was used for truck bed caps on pick up...Drilled holes with unibit. Mounted with ss safety wire. Painted and later powdercoated. 30 min from idea to finished mounting. AND THEY WORK! They help keep the heattape from getting beat up...
That's a forge - do blacksmithing there...heat and beat a spiderwed backrest on bagger - complete with large spyder. Also doing a Honda chop rigid there...(ie the Horse - website - not magazine...) - thanks for asking...VERY FUN BIKE !

Thanx for all the info eater.

I'm gonna try out the kury isoboards. They look comfortable,
and, I like the fudgesickle look.

On a side note, When I read through the 3 pages of comments,
I found it hilarious the vigorous attack on you,
by a guy who takes his machine to the dealer,
so they can install a tank bra for him.

The forge - I knew it Looked like somethin I need.
I would have one, cept my space is limited.
Using a torch instead.
