Wow - great comments!
zippo201 - GREAT to meet someone who checks out the Horse - I like your seat mucho - any ideas on how to do the spring thing with no fender there...?
harlo666 - got a stock seat today for $43 del. from E bay. I'm going to use the pan and foam and see ifI can come up with something - may have Mean City cycles have a crack at it..(what's a streetfighter rear end?)
Don't worry about negative comments - people who are too scared to follow their own dreams - have no problems stomping on others vision...
Would someone post a pic of a confederate bike...can't find one...
I only hit the Exile site afterI finished - even Ray Charles can see that...
I dig it............................heres an idea on the seat with no fender..........................LO........
however I do like the fender...................................
I'm not sure why everyone feels the need to tell you what you have done wrong or what they don't like about it. I went back and re read all the post's and couldn't find one post where you asked for anyone's approval!! Ithink it's cool!!!You are right, it is more suited to the Horse than here. I don't get on that forum as much as I would like to, but I dig thier mag. To everyone with negative comments...............why not keep them to yourself? Do you really feel the need to badmouth what someone else has done? I don't get it!

tireeater....righteous ride dude. I like everything about it. Love the pipes, the low hangin mirror, no front fender..really like the color combo.
I really appreciate the fact it's unique. that's what it's all about brutha.
if it tickles you, that's all that counts.
ride on....
Tire,
The Horse Rocks. I can't see what you got going on under that seat to tie a sprung seatbut I tied the front of mine onto the tank mount and the rear you could probably weld a perch for it.
Zippo
The more I look at it, the more I like the originality. A lot has to be said for that. With so many ppl owning the same bike it's hard to make your's your own.
That said, I agree with whoever mentioned that the handlebars might benefit from some powder coat. And it seems you've already been converted on theseat.
Also, I'd love to see what a smaller tank (sportster tank maybe) would looklike on that bike. Ever given the tank any thoughts?
