Ditching the drag pipes
When on a 300+ mile trip this weekend with the Super Glide. As I was buzzing along, I started to realize I was not happy with the sound or the performance of the baffled drag pipes.
I have the Krome Werks HP baffles installed in the pipes and it give the exhaust a quieter note....but not the right sound. Also, I get a hic-up out of the carb every so often. I wonder if the drags contribute to that.
In any case, I ordered a set of Cycle Shack pipes with mufflers....the drag pipes are coming off.
