I would recommend the Mustang 2 piece setup. When running solo you can take the pass. seat off, put a fender bib on it and it really looks sweet. Get backrests for both of you too.

My wife willingly, albeit painfully, put 3.5k on the stock LowRider seat. The day she lloked at me and said "My a$$ can't take it anymore" was the day we went and brought home a sundowner.
We have put on more 300-500 mile rides than I can count and have always found the sundowner to be exceptionally comfortable. I like it a lot as well for solo since I can sink down in and back on this seat and have a very relaxed, stretched out riding position.
Wife is 5'10" and about 145, I am around 6'1" +/- and about 205 lbs.
I had a Corbin seat with a nice huge adjustable backrest and my better half loved it. It shapes to your butt after an x amount of miles and it felt great
Got a Corbin for sale in the Classifieds Section or pm me
Had the badlander for a bit...uncomfortable as hell, and didnt like the seating position.Went with a lowrider stock seat.problem solved, and doesnt make the bike look like a gezzerglide either!

I have/had a total of 4 seats foy my Dyna. I have the Badlander, the Sundowner(which I am selling), the solo Sundowner and the stock seat. The Badlander looks great, but offers nothing for the passenger. Not to mention I can't stand it on long rides. The stock was way too uncomfortable for me so I sold it and bought the Sundowner two-up. Love it, the wife loved it, for the whole 5 miles she has been on the bike. So since she doesn't ride I bought the Sundowner solo and when I sell the Sundowner two-up I will buy the matching pillion for it...just in case. For my money the Sundowner is the way to go. It let's you sit IN the seat, and not just on it.
Can anyone tell me if a stock lowrider seat will fit a FXDWG as long as it's the correct year model? I'm not liking the looks of my 2005 FXDWG seat now that I've lowered the bike and removed the sissybar.
Anyone know what the difference is between the wideglide seat and all the other dynas? Thanks
I have a lowrider and my wife was complaining after a short 5 mile trip. I'm also looking for another seat. I've got some ridding buddies who recommend Mustang. I have a Corbin on my Buell, but they require a break in period during which time they are sort of ruff on the hind end. The sundowner looks promising. I'd like a seat that I could switch to a solo seat when it is just me.
I have a Sundowner on my Lowrider (same paint scheme) and it is a huge comfort upgrade for passenger and pilot.
