Question Handlebar Swap ... 2007 Dyna Low Rider

Hey guys!

I am in the middle of a handle bar swap on my 2007 Low Rider. I did a bar swap on my Softail Custom (see sig, which I need to change) but it looks like the switch housing wires on the dyna are ran through the frame? On the Softail, you can slide the tank back and see where they plug it. They are very easy to then extend the wires.

So my question is, where do the switch housing (and blinkers) plug in the harness so I can extend them? I would think the easiest way to extend them is to connect the extentions where they plug in and then pull the wires through the bars? I would prefer to feed the wires through the bars off the bike but just not sure where they plug in.

I bought a service manual but it won't be here until Wednesday. I was hoping to have the extended wires done tomorrow. I am trying to be ready for when my bars come in.

Thanks!

Welp, now I feel a bit dumb. LOL

I didn't see the plastic piece on the under side of the backback. I popped that off and it seems all the wires are tucked under there. Here is a question though for those that know...

I pulled on the wires and I got the headlight plug (I think that's what it is) to drop down but both of the switch housing plugs (left and right) seem to be hooked or something and want come down. Should both sides just pull right out or are all the wires up in there held in there by something (like mounted to the frame with plastic pieces)?

All the wires should pull down, carefully. There are no clips or anything holding them, just a bunch of wires in a small space.

Ok, thanks. Now I feel dumb...it was just a matter of pulling out the rubber gromets on each side of the backbone to allow them to slide down. The gromets were keeping the wires from moving much. But, its fixed now!
